SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS FOR MANKIND

SALVATION OF MANKIND IN CHRIST JESUS. 

1. MAN WAS CREATED IN THE IMAGE OF GOD WITH ONLY GOOD KNOWLEDGE.

Genesis 1:27 states, 'So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.' 

This image of God is Christ per Colossians 1:15.

2. THE FALL OF MAN INTO SIN AND DEATH.

The scripture declares in Romans 3:23, 'For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.' 

This is because the first mankind, Adam and Eve disobeyed the commandment of God per Genesis 2:17 which  states, 'But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.' 

When man disobeyed God's commandment (see Genesis 3:1-24); this brought about the law of sin and death in man which can only be removed by the law of Spirit of life in Christ Jesus per Romans 8:2.

For sin is disobedience to the commandment of God which brings death; but righteousness in the blood of Jesus brings eternal life per 1 John 3:4, Romans 3:24-25, 5:19-21.  

It is because of imbibing evil knowledge to the good knowledge man was originally created; that man now dies physically per Genesis 3:19; spiritually per 2 Corinthians 3:18, Colossians 3:10. C.F. John 3:5; and second death in the eternal lake of fire per Revelation 20:14-15, Hosea 4:6. Mankind is made of the sinful blood of Adam which affected all to be of Adamic sinful nature; and made salvation of Jesus for mankind necessary per Acts 17:26. The blood of Jesus Christ as blood of God per Acts 20:28; cleanses all our sins per 1 John 1:7.

3. GOD DECREED THE SALVATION OF MANKIND IN CHRIST JESUS. 

Genesis 3:15 which states, 'And I will put enmity between thee (serpent) and the woman, and between thy seed (Antichrist) and her seed (Christ); it (Christ) shall bruise thy (serpent's) head, and thou (serpent) shalt bruise his (Christ) heel.' Today this is fulfilled in Christ Jesus. 

Worthy of note is that Jesus was different from the rest of us mankind and equipped with salvation for mankind in these respects: 

1. Jesus was conceived by Holy Spirit (God). Note that though Mary is the biological mother of Jesus Christ (our saviour), the woman in this context is more of the heavenly Jerusalem (new Jerusalem), the spiritual mother of all believers in Christ Jesus per Galatians 4:26. That is to say that Jesus had no Adamic sin per Luke 1:34-35. 

2. Jesus unlike the rest of mankind has eternal life of God from origin per John 5:26 and cannot die spiritually; and only Him is in the position to give the eternal life of God to mankind because of the blood He shed for the salvation of mankind per John 17:2, Hebrews 10:19.

4. JESUS ACCOMPLISHED THE SALVATION OF MANKIND ON THE CROSS OF CALVARY. On the cross of calvary, Jesus Christ carried the sin of mankind on his body and by his death destroyed sin in the body of mankind who believe in His finished work of salvation per 1 Peter 2:24, Romans 6:6. 

On the cross Jesus shed His righteous blood for mankind who believe in His finished work of salvation to cleanse mankind from adamic sinful nature; and give us the righteousness of God by faith in Christ Jesus and eternal life per 1 John 1:7, Romans 3:24-25, Romans 5:19-21, John 17:2.

5. GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE JESUS CHRIST FOR SALVATION OF MAN; AND COMMANDED THAT MANKIND CAN ONLY BE SAVED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. 

John 3:16 states, 'For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.' 

1 John 3:23 states, 'And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.' 

This means that if you refuse the commandment of God to believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God for your salvation, you condemn yourself to death in eternal lake of fire per John 3:18. 

There is no repentance in the grave per Psalms 6:5, Isaiah 38:18, 

6. ONLY JESUS CHRIST SAVES MANKIND WHO BELIEVE.

Acts 4:12. states 'Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.' 

John 14:6, states, 'Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' . This means that your religion (Christian religion, Islamic religion, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Traditional religion etc of such) cannot save you to enter the Kingdom of God. Your cultism, sacrifices, rituals, charms, idol worship, juju, voodoo, magic, incantation, spiritism, etc of such cannot save you to enter the Kingdom of God. The only One God ordained to take you to the Kingdom of God is Jesus Christ.  It is a different thing that you have not known that only Jesus Christ saves you to enter the Kingdom of God before death; then would your mind have been opened to receive Him as your Saviour in eternity; if you have lived righteously under the law per Romans 2:14-16.

7. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF LAW (RELIGIOUS RIGHTEOUSNESS) AS DISTINCT FROM RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD BY FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS. Even our personal goodness cannot save us to enter the Kingdom of God for our righteousnesses under the law (religious righteousnesses) are as filthy rags before God per Isaiah 64:6.

The righteousness that God accepts as a prerequisite to enter the Kingdom of God, is the righteousness of God by faith in Christ Jesus per Romans 3:21-26, Philippians 3:6-9. This is because religious righteousness brings about self righteousness, boasting and pride which are acts of sin. But faith in Christ Jesus, that on the cross Jesus saved your soul from condemnation and freely gave you all your needs, brings humility to you per Romans 3:27-28. 

For this reason Jesus said in Matthew 5:20, 'For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees (who are of religious righteousness) , ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.' 

8. WORK OF FAITH IN CHRIST JESUS AS WORKS OF GOD. 

The work of a believer in Christ Jesus is to believe in Jesus finished work of salvation on the cross per John 6:28-29.

You come by way of prayer of faith to receive your needs. For without faith it is impossible to please God, for God rewards those who diligently seek Him per Hebrews 11:6. For the just shall live by faith per Romans 1:17. 

In Christ Jesus believers' souls are saved to enter into the Kingdom of God; and while on earth find pasture (needs) per John 10:9. When you pray to God by faith in Christ Jesus concerning your need, the Holy Spirit that is given to you as a believer directs you on how to receive answer to your prayer per 1 Corinthians 2:9-12. And the received answer as work of faith is counted unto the believer for righteousness per James 2:23-24.

9. JESUS IS THE ONLY LAMB OF GOD THAT TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD. It is important to know that Jesus is LAMB of God sacrificed to take away the sin of the world per John 1:29. After the sacrifice of Jesus for salvation of mankind who believe in Him; there is no need of sacrifices of animals by religious organisations again. This is because the blood of animals cannot cleanse the sin of mankind. It is only the blood of Jesus that cleanses our sin per Hebrews 10:4, Hebrews 10:9-10, 1 John 1:7.

10. HOW TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR PERSONAL SAVIOUR. If you believe in your heart that Jesus died and resurrected for your sake. And you confess that Jesus Christ as Son of God is your personal saviour, Lord and Master, you are granted salvation in Christ Jesus per Romans 10:9-11.

In this manner by faith we are crucified with Jesus, buried with Him, resurrected with Him into new lfe (eternal life of God), in such a way that the life we live now is not ours; but that of Jesus Christ; who lives in us through holy Spirit to enable us live the righteous life of God in the blood of Jesus Christ per Romans 3:24-25, 6:3-4, Galatians 2:20.

If you want to answer altar call to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be born again christian say this prayer: I acknowledge my sins and Adamic sin, I confess same and repent of same. I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ died for me and resurrected to give me eternal life. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord, Master and Saviour. In Jesus name. Amen. I am a born again Christian!!! -
